I first got started in real estate right out of college, stumbled into a career. I was interned in 1998 from one of the top producing agents at the time, the luxury boutique real estate firm Pardo real estate, went and graduated and thought I was going to go to business school, but got a job offer I couldn't refuse from the agents I was working with at the time. Started at Washington fine properties day one, when those doors opened, became licensed in 2003 and have never looked back. Everybody has the question of why they wake up in the morning, and what's their why, and My why is my family. I mean, Home is where the heart is, and all the memories that are there, and just personally, speaking, bringing both my kids home from the hospital, that first step now getting college acceptance letters, memories that you'll remember forever as you proceed and go through life. It's all of that. I think if you could check a lot of those boxes for working with a client in terms of trying to find a new home that can lead to a happier home, if you will. Our business practice is very unique. We're a partnership, a true partnership. All four of us share all of our business that comes in through our front door. The second unique aspect is luxury is all that we've ever known. We stumbled into our real estate careers. It was at the luxury sub market, and we've continued it, and we've become experts in land value, property values, and also property details. Truly understanding the different sought after neighborhoods in each individual sub market is to our benefit, because a lot of times when buyers come into our marketplace, they don't know where they want to live. If you're unaware of what's going on in Virginia, what if your client pivots and wants to purchase in Virginia, we have to have our fingers in all three sub markets, which has led us to having the highest average sales price of any team in the marketplace at $3.1 million.
